Peakside Capital has acquired a mixed-use property in Berlin for Peakside Real Estate Fund II. The acquisition is the third transaction on behalf of the fund and its first in Berlin. The property is located in the city’s Prenzlauberg district in close proximity to Mauerpark and Alexanderplatz. It offers 34,600 sqm of mixed-use space including retail, office and leisure. The building is currently 93 percent leased. Peakside plans to continue its value-add strategy through active asset management, capitalizing on central locations.
