According to a new report from the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, pending homes sales are up ten percent in October over the same period from last year. There were 2,247 deals signed this October compared to 2,037 last year. The median sales price for 2015 has increased 7.9 percent from 2014 and stands at $170,000.
“After markedly robust sales of 2,200 per month for the seven months prior we experienced a little cooling of the market in October,” said Sally Suslak, NEFAR president, in a news release. “With 2,247 contracts signed (pending sales) during the month, however, it’s evident that home buyers’ interest hasn’t substantially waned.”
