Miami-based Pensam Capital has purchased the 210 unit Viera Plantation Apartments in Broward County for $31.5 million. Built in 1979 on a 8.9-acre site at 1 Pine Island Road, the asset traded for $150,000 per unit. The seller, Nashville-based Covenant Capital Group, bought the 287,779-square-foot complex in 2010 for $16.81 million. CBRE Multifamily Capital provided a $24.82 million loan for the deal through Fannie Mae.
