15 November 2016

Penta Investments acquired a site adjacent to the main train station in Prague 1. The investment group plans to build offices and flats on the plot in a consortium with Czech Railways and Sudop called CR-City. Penta has a 34-percent stake in the joint venture it recently acquired from UK investors. The project, nicknamed “Churchill,” includes an apartment building with a valid construction permit. Penta plans to start building 60 flats as soon as possible. Two office buildings with a valid planning permit totaling 27,000 sqm will go up between the main train station and Italská street, in the direction of Seifertova street. Construction on the office portion could start before the end of 2017. CR-City also has the option to buy another site on Španělská street next to the planned tunnel between the main station and Seifertova street. Penta is considering building a 14,000 sqm office project on the site.
