Penta finalizes Florentinum sale to CEFC

Penta finalized the sale of the Florentinum office complex in Prague 1 to CEFC. The Chinese company offered the highest bid after going up against a renowned German investor in the final round. The price of the deal was not disclosed. The president of CEFC China, Chan Chauto, said that the company plans to establish its European headquarters in the complex. The 49,000 sqm office building, with retail and restaurants on the ground floor, was designed by architect Jakub Cigler and completed in 2013. It is fully leased on long-term contracts to companies like EY, Havel, Holásek & Partners, Renomia, Veolia, BlueLink, Bank of China, HSBC Bank, RSJ, Hospodářská komora ČR, Dr. Max, Fortuna and Penta Investments.
