Penta gets planning for Zaha Hadid project in Bratislava

23 August 2016

Penta secured a planning permit for the Zaha Hadid-designed project set to go up along Čulenova street in Bratislava. The developer hopes the construction permit will follow shortly, allowing the residential component of the project to break ground this fall. The first phase, to offer 700 apartments in three 31-story towers with 3,000 of retail on the ground floor, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2018, according to Penta. Two office towers will add 55,000 sqm of leasable space in the second phase. Planning has been issued for the first one. Penta promised to create a 20,000 sqm new green park in the project and refresh the facade of the historical Jurkovičova heating plant on the site.
