Penta is planning to build up to 300,000 sqm of residential apartments on a 38 ha plot of land it has secured. The dail E15 confirmed the deal with the head of the investment group’s real estate arm Petr Palička who said including a variety of services in the vicinity would of course be needed as well to make the thousands of new flats attractive. He added that given the need to carry out changes to the city’s master plan, there was no way to estimate when construction might begin, but that “it would be great” if they could get into the ground within five years. According to E15, the land Penta will be building on is located between Kbelska and Tupolevova streets, within view of the government quarter prime minister Andrej Babiš envisions.
