Penta to build office project in Prague 6

9 August 2016

Penta acquired a 50-percent share in an office project at Vítězné náměstí in Prague 6. Petr Kellner had planned to build a project called the “Line” on the site between Jugoslávských partyzánů and Verdunská streets, but sold the property to Kaprain Group, owned by former PPF manager Karel Pražák, this spring. The project, nicknamed the “Polar Bear,” stirred strong controversy due to its progressive design and volume. Penta plans to completely redesign the project. Spokesman Ivo Mravinac says the group will present the new design plan before the end of the year. In the meantime, the developer hopes to alleviate the city’s concerns over the project.
