Retail discount chain Pepco has tapped DHL to oversee its new distribution center in Sosnowiec. DHL Supply Chain will be responsible for equipping the 40,000 sqm warehouse, hiring about 350 people and delivering IT solutions. “Collaboration with a reliable logistics service provider is of key importance to us, because it gives us the opportunity to benefit from its international experience and effective, proven logistics solutions,” said Krzysztof Sielicki, CEE support and development manager at Pepco. “DHL Supply Chain will ensure efficient operation of our logistics center, which, in turn, will hopefully increase the satisfaction of our final customers who shop particularly at Pepco stores across two of 10 CEE countries where the company is present today, in Romania and the Czech Republic.”
