The Perla Majestic Group, which operates a string of hotels along Romania’s Black Sea coast, has seen an 8-percent jump in demand this year and expects to end 2012 with a turnover of €20m, according to the company’s owner, Mohammad Murad.

The group has six hotels in the Black Sea region, including Phoenicia Holiday Resort, Perla Majestic, Majestic Olimp and Majestic Jupiter, which brought in more than €10m this summer. The group also runs two hotels in Bucharest, Phoenicia Grand Hotel with 348 rooms and Phoenicia Express.

In addition to the hotels, Murad also oversees the Spring Time restaurant chain.
