The Czech edition of Forbes magazine confirmed what most already knew, which is that Petr Kellner who owns the PPF investment group is the richest man in the country, with an estimated net worth of $14.9bn. He’s followed by Radovan Vitek, the owner of CPI Property Group and by Daniel Křetínský, whose activities include a takeover attempt of the German retail group Metro. Czech prime minister Andrej Babiš came in fourth place, though his estimated net worth shrank $300m to a mere $3.2bn, leaving him just $100m richer than KKCG’s owner Karel Komárek.
