A bowling center is set to open in September in Bratislava’s Petržalka district. The leisure center is a refurbishment of the former LUDUS theater. Work on the cracked building began in March. The bowling center will have eight lanes, and the building will also offer space for educational and social activities.
Petržalka administrators have been trying to lease the building since 2009. Last September, deputies signed a deal with Prespor for 30 years at a symbolic rate. The company said it would invest €1m into the reconstruction of the building and €300,000 into the fit-out.
