PFR Nieruchomości purchased a plot of land in Lublin from KSC Polski Cukier

PFR Nieruchomości bought the area of ​​the former Lublin Sugar Plant from Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa “Polski Cukier”. 220 apartments for rent will be built there as part of the market part of the government’s Mieszkanie + program, Polski Cukier reported.

“The purchased plot is approximately 1.5 hectares of land at Krochmalna Street. According to the assumptions, a residential investment consisting of two buildings will be built on it, which will house 220 Apartments Plus” – we read in the release.

The Lublin Sugar Factory was launched in 1895 and originally covered an area of ​​36 hectares. The plant was closed in 2010 as a result of the restructuring of the sugar industry in Poland. Since 2015, the post-sugar processing yard has been rented by driver training centers, which, using the existing asphalt hardening, have arranged their own maneuvering areas. Based on the spatial development plan of the city of Lublin adopted by the Lublin City Council in 2018, the above-mentioned the property is intended for multi-family housing, the material recalled.

“The plot, which we sell in Lublin, has served the inhabitants of the city for generations. The Lublin Sugar Factory provided prestigious employment, developed the local economy, connected people and even generations. This is another investment of PFR Nieruchomości in the Lublin region. It was in this voivodeship, in Biała Podlaska, that in May 2018 the first keys to the Plus Apartments were handed out. Another 108 will be delivered to tenants in Świdnik next year, it was also announced.

“This plot is very well located, in the center of Lublin. We plan to erect two residential buildings on it with a one-level underground garage. The buildings will have approximately 220 apartments. The structure of the apartments will meet local needs. will end with a building permit in the second quarter of 2022. As part of the market part of the government housing program implemented by PFR Nieruchomości, there are currently over 2,000 apartments under construction in such locations as Katowice, Kraków, Dębica, Radom, Mińsk Mazowiecki, Zamość, Łowicz, Świdnik and Toruń.
