6 November 2012

The Warsaw Stock Exchange rebounded Tuesday thanks in part to one company, according to the business server parkiet.pl. The WIG20 index increased by 0.24 percent, following news that Poland’s energy giant PGNiG signed an agreement with Russia’s Gazprom. Shortly after the announcement, PGNiG shares immediately climbed by as much as 10 percent. Analysts predict that the WIG gains could falter as the day goes on, as there have been no other significant gainers posted so far.
