The Lee Building Industry Association has named longtime homebuilding official Phillip Ford executive vice president. Ford has 23 years’ experience in the home building industry, with his most recent position having been as executive vice president for the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association in South Carolina. Prior to that, he managed and directed a building industry member association in Georgia. A 1993 graduate of Troy State University in Alabama, Ford received the Home Builders Association of South Carolina Champion of Housing award in 2010. The Lee Building Industry Association is a non-profit professional association and lobbying organization. “The BIA is looking forward to having an even bigger voice now that Phillip is on board,” says Lee Building Industry Association President Daniel Beiter in a release. “We welcome him to the team and wish the association continued success in the year ahead.”
