The Chilean group Phoenix has acquired the five-star Hotel Intercontinental La Torre for an undisclosed price. The vendor is the developer Polaris Word which has filed for liquidation. Phoenix is a business conglomerate backed by family capital, headquartered in Santiago de Chile. It has assets in the property, tourism, finance as well as the renewable energy sector. Phoenix has further investments planned, having recently acquired a retail center with numerous restaurants.
