The Photon Energy company has started the construction of the sixth photovoltaic power plant in Romania, which will have a production capacity of 4.8 MWp. The new power plant will start operating in the fourth quarter of 2022.
“We are very happy that we can continue the work in Romania, one of the main markets in Central and Eastern Europe, implementing the growth strategy announced in the Financial Report for 2022”, said Georg Hotar, CEO of Photon Energy Group.
Located near the town of Teiuș in Alba County, the power plant will cover 10 ha of land and include 8,700 solar panels. The power plant will be owned and operated by a special company wholly owned by Photon Energy Group.
