Planning approved for Skanska’s new Prague 7 scheme

13 August 2018

Prazsky denik reports that Skanska Property’s new office park in Holešovice has received its zoning permit from the city of Prague, clearing the way for an investment of CZK 1.5bn. Located on the former Prefa factory along the Vltava river in Prague 7’s Holešovice district, Skanska bought the land it needs for the office component of the scheme from Geone, the company owned by Milan Janků. Geone will be developing a leisure zone on the rest of the site, including a spa and a panoramic sauna. Skanska’s project, called Port7, is being designed by DAM architekti and will include restaurants, shops and a kindergarten.
“Holešovice is one of the fastest developing districts in Prague and a location that’s becoming ever more attractive not only to developers,” says Skanska Property’s director Alexandra Tomášková. “Skanska is getting the maximum benefit from the location.”
