Play gaining market share in Poland

The youngest of the mobile operators in Poland, Play, is expanding throughout the country, having acquired 320,000 new customers in the first quarter of 2012. The total figure of 7.4 million clients it’s picked up since hitting the Polish market reflects a 14 percent stake for the company. β€œWe measure the growth rate with the number of customers and revenues,” says Jorgen Bang-Jensen, the chairman of P4, who operates Play in Poland. The operator expects its share will expand to 15 percent by the end of the year.
