Poczta Polska to build Warsaw distribution center

14 August 2014

The Polish Post (Poczta Polska) will develop a distribution center in Warsaw. The investment is set to go up on Solidarności street. According to news reports, Poland’s state investor is set to add nearly 7,500 sqm of new commercial space to the Warsaw market as soon as the existing building is demolished. The project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of the year. The scheme will also include warehouse and office space. Poczta Polska had originally planned to develop its distribution center in Katowice, after purchasing a substantial plot from Polnand’s Agricultural Property Agency in 2006. But according to Polish news outlets, the investor needed to sell the land, as it has been unable to secure any financing for the project.
