In an effort to curb the spread of COVID 19, Poland has shut its borders to foreigners. However, measures were put into place to help Polish citizens return home, said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. The prime minister pointed to the country’s Anti-Crisis Shield as a transitional mechanism aimed at protecting the Polish economy in this difficult situation and help people return to the labor force once this pandemic has passed.
