26 March 2012

Polish officials have refused to attend a European Parliament hearing on alleged CIA prisons in Europe. Scheduled for Tuesday, the meeting is conducted by the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) and it is expected to clarify the circumstances surrounding the alleged prisons set up in the Polish city of Stare Kiejkuty, near Kutno where terrorism suspects are claimed to have been held. Romania has also refused to come on the Brussels meeting.
