The registered unemployment rate reached 5.2% at the end of December 2022, compared to 5.1% at the end of the previous month, according to data from the Ministry of Family and Social Policy (MRPiS).
“Poland’s registered unemployment rate reached 5.2% in December 2022,” according to preliminary data from #MRiPS. Compared to the end of 2021, it is lower by 0.6 percentage points.” – wrote the ministry on its Twitter profile.
The lowest unemployment rate was recorded in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship (2.9%), and the highest in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship – 8.9%, the ministry also reported.
The draft budget law for 2023 assumes a registered unemployment rate of 5.4% at the end of 2023.
