Prices of residential units increased by 9.3% y/y in Q4 2022, and rose by 1.4% quarter-on-quarter, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported.
Prices of residential units in Q4 2022 increased by 1.4% compared to Q3 2022 (including in the primary market – by 2.1% and in the secondary market – by 0.7%). Compared to the same period of 2021, prices of residential units increased by 9.3% (including in the primary market – by 10.5% and in the secondary market – by 8.3%) according to the GUS report.
In Q4 2022, prices of residential units were 69.6% higher compared to the average price for 2015. (including in the primary market – by 57.9%, and in the secondary market – by 79.7%..
In Q4 2022, the largest increase in prices of residential units compared to the previous quarter was recorded in the Lesser Poland province (by 3.9%). The largest decrease in prices was observed in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province (by 2.9%).
When calculating residential price indices for 2022, the secondary market is given a weight of 52.8%, and the primary market – 47.2%.
