Personal changes on BRE Bank’s Management Board have been blocked by the Polish Financial Supervisory Authority which did not agree to letting Commerzbank representative Wiesław Thor have a seat in BRE Bank’s Supervisory Board, writes partlet.pl. According to an unofficial source, Commerzbank, which holds a majority stake in BRE Bank, proposed Thor to replace Sascha Klaus, currently responsible for BRE’s risk management. “The members of the board are being appointed by the Supervisory Board” said Simon Steiner, chief of communications at Commerzbank.
