Poland’s building permits declined in 2012

The number of building permits issued last year in Poland fell by 15.1 percent from the previous year, according to the numbers released by Poland’s General Office of Building Control. Furthermore, nearly 97 percent of the permits issued were for single family houses. Meanwhile, the bureau issued more occupancy permits last year, with 167,300 registered by the end of 2012. However, the office issued fewer permits for multi-family projects last year, reporting a 14.8 percent decrease compared with 2011.
