Poland’s jobless rate falls to 7-year low

Poland’s strong economic performance led to a record-breaking year for employment creation, the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily reports, citing new numbers from the Polish Statistical Office GUS and MPiPS. Unemployment rate has been dropping steadily over the past eight months and now stand at 9.6 percent. This is reducing the supply of labor available to businesses in Poland’s regional markets at the same time as they are trying to expand.

Dziennik Gazeta Prawna suggests that now is the best time for Poles to make a job change, or to enter the labor market, as demand is currently growing for workers of all skill levels. In fact, employers have been preparing to wages pressure, while preparing a personal strategies for their employees.
