Followed by Moscow, Vienna and Paris, Warsaw has the highest office supply on the European market, according to a recent CBRE report. More and more foreign investors, attracted by the country’s low rent rates, are relocating their head offices to Poland, said Daniel Bienias of CBRE’s office department. Poland’s office market is benefiting from the economic slowdown, which has seen many new tenants moving into the country’s big cities, Bienias added.
Take-up in the offices sectors in Poland’s eight largest cities reached 895,000 sqm last year. During the first six month of 2012, more than 490,000 sqm of office space was leased, 300,000 sqm of which was in Warsaw. Market watchers predict that 2012 could be a record-breaking year for the Polish office sector.
