The boom on Poland’s residential market continues, REAS reports, despite predictions that the sector had hit its peak in the fourth quarter of 2015. The most recent figures from the agency show that a new record was reached in the second quarter of 2016, with nearly 15,100 units sold and another 17,700 added to the offer. It’s the highest-ever transaction volume for the Polish housing market, with the country’s biggest cities — Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, TriCity, Poznan and Łódź — continuing to dominate the sector.
The results came as surprise for the market, which had been expecting stabilization at the beginning of the year, following a record sales volume of 14,400 units in Q4 2015.
