Poland’s warehouse, industrial take-up hits 1 million sqm

Warehouse and industrial take-up hit nearly 1 million sqm in Poland in Q1, more than 6 percent over the quarterly average of the last three years, with the strongest leasing activity recorded in Warsaw, central Poland and Lower Silesia, according to Cresa. The largest transactions in the first quarter of 2019 included a 59,000 sqm lease by Pantos Logistics in Panattoni Park Wrocław IX and a 58,500 sqm lease at P3 Mszczonów. The vacancy rate increased to 5.3 percent. The highest warehouse vacancy rates were in the Białystok region (36 percent) and Poznań (8.4 percent).
