The private equity sector continues to grow in Poland, with the strong performance it saw at the beginning of the year, taking a top spot on the CEE private equity markets. With its growth of 4% in the private equity sector in 2012, Poland is seen as an expanding market that’s worthy of increased investment and was named as one of the tigers of CEE by “The Deal” magazine. In the darkest hours of the financial crisis, as CEE’s biggest economy, Poland was seen as an island of investment opportunity due to its stable financial and political picture that was seen in the country for the past few years.
