Polimex-Mostostal recorded PLN 66.23 million of consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company in 2020 compared to PLN 50.74 million of profit a year earlier, the company said in its report.
The operating profit amounted to PLN 89.53 million versus PLN 60.42 million profit a year earlier.
Consolidated sales revenues amounted to PLN 1,615.32 million in 2020 compared to PLN 1,589.43 million a year earlier.
“Despite the difficult situation in the construction industry, consolidated revenues reached PLN 1,615 million. The group’s EBITDA for 2020 amounted to PLN 127 million (representing an EBITDA margin of 7.9%) and is higher by PLN 31 million compared to 2019 The group’s net result for the twelve months of 2020 amounted to PLN 63 million (3.9% of operating income) and is higher by PLN 12 million than the result for 2019 “- wrote President Krzysztof Figat in a letter to shareholders.
On a standalone basis, the net profit in 2020 amounted to PLN 61.39 million compared to PLN 93.66 million profit a year earlier.
Polimex-Mostostal is an engineering and construction company active on the market since 1945. Together with the companies forming the Polimex CG, it provides general contracting services for many industries, including energy, chemistry, refining and petrochemical industry and environmental protection. Its consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 1,615.42 million in 2020.
