More and more Poles are moving their businesses to the Czech Republic, thanks to what lawyer Jadwiga Glumińska-Pawlic describes as Poland’s hostile tax law, claiming that the trend is hurting the state budget. Andrzej Dmowski, a lawyer and tax advisor, says that starting a business in the Czech Republic is cheaper and quicker than in Poland, making it an attractive destination for entrepreneurial Poles.
Tax expert Vlastimil Sojka says it takes between two and four weeks on average to set up a business in the Czech Republic, while costs involved with the process and the base capital needed for the new company are reasonable. In fact, registration costs will drop from €350 to €220 next year.
