The commercial property market saw a stable first half of the year, according to DTZ, with 92,000 sqm of new office space delivered over the period. The agency expects a total of 230,000 sqm to be delivered by the end of the year, with another 350,000 sqm planned for 2013. Last time when such a number was seen was in 2000, the agency claims. Demand for office space should mirror those from 2011 with the vacancy rate coming in at 7.4 percent. There was a total of 260,000 sqm of retail space delivered to the market in the first half of the year, 16 percent less than a year ago.
