Polish dividends hit record levels in 2012

2 July 2012

Analysts are predicting that Polish dividends will have a record-breaking year in 2012. It’s been estimated that a full PLN 27bn will be paid out to shareholders of the 144 companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, including the foreign investors. That’s a substantial increase over PLN 23bn that was distributed to WSE investors last year. Much of this payout is expected to return on the stock market, say analysts, as soon as it makes its way into investor pockets.
