Polish economy predicted to grow by 3.4%

2 March 2015

Polish GDP figures are on track to grow by 3.4 percent this year, according to Finance Minister Mateusz Sczurek. In fact, the latest figures from the Finance Ministry show that the country’s consumption should grow by 2.17 percent during 2015, compared to the EU average of 0.5 percent. “Basically, Poles can afford to increase their spending,” Szczurek said, basing his statement on the fact that Polish economic growth will outstrip the EU average for some time to come.
