According to the Ministry of Economy, the Polish economy started slowing down in the fourth quarter of 2012. Domestic demand for the country dropped by 0.7 percent, while individual consumption fell 1.1 percent. According to estimates, the gross fixed capital formation for the local market also fell by 0.4 percent during the last three months of the year.
The Polish Statistical Office GUS revealed last week that Poland’s GDP increased by just 2 percent last year. Q4 data has not been released yet.
