According to the Export Credit Insurance Corporation KUKE, the Polish exports brought in PLN 54.6bn in November 2012. Itβs a 6.1 percent slump compared with October 2012, but 2.2 percent more than the same period last year. The decrease, however, reflects the seasonal factors, claims the daily Puls Biznesu, as the number of orders for the Christmas season always begins to fall for the retail sector in the period.
KUKE predicts the period from November to January could show a 0.3 percent increase for the domestic exports, compared with the same period last year. The volume of exports in 2013 is expected to grow to PLN 628.2bn, based on the Polish manufacturing production potential: an increase of 2.1 percent compared with 2012.
