Poland’s export volume to the German market increased by 0.8 percent y-o-y to 25.8 percent during the first seven months of the year, according to the country’s Statistical Office (GUS). Trade between Sweden, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, UK, France and Slovakia also strengthened.
Polish exports to Russia and Ukraine, meanwhile, fell by 0.8 percent during the same period to 4.4 percent and 1.9 percent respectively. Ukraine is ranked 15th on Poland’s trade partners list, according to GUS.
