Polish businessmen are expanding in Germany, according to data from the Federal Association of Craft shows, with the number of Polish companies registered on the left bank of the Oder river in 201l now up to 28,000. Roughly 94 percent of them are businesses operating in Berlin and in the east part of the country. Polish companies operating in Germany are most often focused on catering sector, but also on renovation, construction, and the cosmetics sectors. The requirements for registering a company in Germany are much less restrictive than in Poland. Data provided by the German Institute of Economic Research shows the average monthly income in a small company is €23,000, with 40 percent of them reporting higher results.
