17 April 2020

The Polish government will allocate PLN 3bn to roadwork projects in 2020. The money will be put in the Local Government Roads Fund in 2020, according to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. There are plans to build, rebuild or renovate 3,400 km of roads, including about 1,700 district roads and around 1,700 commune roads. The Local Government Roads Fund is a large-scale modernization program, which will serve economic activation. “We want to allocate additional funds for local government roads and provide a development impulse for local governments as well as for small and medium-sized companies,” said Morawiecki.
