An increase in sold production was recorded in 27 out of 34 industrial sectors (on an annual basis) in July 2021, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) informed.
The sold production of industrial enterprises increased by 9.8% y / y in July 2021, the Central Statistical Office reported. In monthly terms, it fell by 3.9%.
According to preliminary data, in July this year, compared to July last year, an increase in sold production (in constant prices) was recorded in 27 (out of 34) branches of industry, including the production of electrical equipment – by 26.4%, computers, electronic and optical products – by 25.9%, metals – by 22.3%, metal products – by 21.5%, machines and devices – by 18.6%, in the production and supply of electricity, gas , steam and hot water – by 16.6%, in the manufacture of products from other non-metallic mineral raw materials – by 13.8%, paper and paper products – by 12.2%, according to GUS.
A drop in sold industrial production, compared to July last year, occurred in 7 sections, incl. in the production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – by 4.7%, and furniture – by 2.4%, it was also stated.
Compared to June this year, a decrease in sold production (in constant prices) in July this year was recorded in 26 industrial sectors, including the production of computers, electronic and optical products – by 12.9%, motor vehicles, trailers and trailers – by 11.8%, other transport equipment – by 9.6%, machinery and equipment – by 9.4%, furniture – by 7.8%, electrical equipment – by 7.6%, wooden products, cork , straw and wicker – by 6.2%, according to GUS.
An increase in sold industrial production, compared to June this year, occurred in 8 sections, including in the production of coke and refined petroleum products – by 5.0%, in the extraction of hard coal and lignite – by 4.1%, in the production of chemicals and chemical products – by 4.0%, in the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and hot water – by 3.8%, GUS reported.
