Take-up on the Polish industrial market hit a record-breaking 855,000 sqm in the first three months of the year, while a total of 538,000 sqm of new space was added to the market in Q1, making this the strongest first quarter on record, according to JLL. Logistic operators took 277,300 sqm, while light manufacturing companies signed on to 174,400 sqm. Retailers including e-commerce, signed lease agreements on a total of 250,600 sqm. The biggest lease agreement signed between January and March was Amazon’s 135,000 sqm BTS deal in Sosnowiec. The facility was developed by Panattoni.
