10 July 2012

A group of web portals o2, Wrzuta and Pudelek could go public on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in the near future, the Rzeczpospolita daily claims. It reports that the owners of the portals plan to raise the funds they need for further acquisitions in order to expand their online activities. The owner’s plan is hit new online sectors, including online advertising, online video, and social network advertising. “All the funds acquired from the investors will be dedicated to develop our online advertising offer, though we won’t rule out some other acquisitions,” says Jacek Świdersi, co-founder and the board member of the o2 portal. The owners, Cyper-based Borgosia Investments Ltd., Bridge20 Enterprises Ltd. and Jadhave Holdings Ltd. plan to keep the company after the IPO, Reczpospolita reports.
