Polish Power Exchange looks to raise its exposure in EU

5 September 2012

The Polish Power Exchange (TGE) is gearing up to expand its trade volume in the next three years. The power bourse has just gone public with its 2012-2015 strategy, that’s expected to raise the exposure on international electricity and LPG markets.
“The strategy is based on three main pillars: increasing the trade volume on the domestic electricity market, developing the LPG market and expanding the presence on the global electricity markets,” says Ireneusz Łazor, president of TGE. “We wish to play an important role on the European power market, which makes it possible for us to create solutions consistent with the needs of the Polish energy sector,” adds Łazor.
