Polish President in Afghanistan

Polish President Bronisław Komorowski has met in Kabul with Afghan president Hamid Karzai in order to discuss preparations for Chicago’s NATO summit on scheduled at May. During his visit, Komorowski also met soldiers and officers from the Polish contingent, who are part of international ISAF force. Komorowski decided to visit Afganistan in response to riots in Afghanistan after US troops burned copies of Koran. The Polish president also took part in a ceremony of signing a cooperation agreement with the Polish National Security Bureau and its Afghan counterpart, the National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
