More than 180,000 sqm was added to the retail sector in Poland in the first three months of this year, while another 330,000 sqm is expected to be completed by the end of 2018, according to a recent report published by Cushman & Wakefield. The growth represents an increase of more than 25 percent from the previous year, bringing Poland’s total retail stock to more than 14.8 million sqm. The new supply will be concentrated in cities with fewer than 100,000 inhabitants, accounting for 40 percent of this year’s openings, according to C&W.
