A third of all small and medium-sized companies operating in Poland report difficulties
in finding Polish specialists, according to the most recent International Business Report from Grant Thornton. The last time such challenges were noticed was in 2007. Roughly 32 percent of Poland’s registered entrepreneurs has described the problem as “significant,” according to Grant Thornton. Poland ranks fourth in Europe, according to the study, which found the problem was worse only in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.
“Demand for a highly skilled workforce in Poland is being driven by Poland’s dynamic economic growth that we’ve seen in the past quarter, which is pushing local business forward with their expansion plans,” said Monika Smulewicz, managing director at Grant Thornton.
