Loan companies provided PLN 713 million in financing in January (an increase of 64.9% y / y), according to the data of the Credit Information Bureau (BIK). The average value of a newly granted non-bank loan in January 2022 was PLN 2,351 and was higher than the average value of a loan granted in January 2021 by (+ 14.1%).
The total sales of loan companies cooperating with BIK amounted to 276.3 thousand. units in numerical terms, which means an increase by 43.8% y / y, it was reported.
In January 2021, 43.75% of the value of newly granted loans was granted by loan companies for amounts exceeding PLN 5,000, which in numerical terms constituted only 10.7% of sales. In terms of numbers, loans up to PLN 1,000 were dominant, which accounted for 44.8% of the number of financing granted, it announced.
In terms of value, loans for amounts below PLN 1,000 PLN had 9.9 percent. share in sales. In January 2022, newly granted loans from all amount ranges, both in terms of numbers and value, recorded positive growth.
The highest positive dynamics in terms of numbers compared to January 2021 was recorded for loans from the extreme ranges: low-value loans up to PLN 500, respectively (+ 71%) and high-value loans over PLN 5,000, respectively. PLN, respectively: (+ 59.3%). In terms of value, the highest dynamics was recorded for loans in the range of over PLN 5,000. PLN (+ 81.3%) and low-value ones up to PLN 500 (+ 63.4%), have been completed.
