The chairman of WSE-listed developer Polnord Bartosz Puzdrowski has confirmed his company is expanding its focus from residential to retail schemes, despite what’s seen as a relatively high level of saturation.
So far, the developer has entered into an agreement with fellow developer GTC to build Galeria Wilanów in one Warsaw prime housing locations, Wilanów district. Both investors hope to secure the building permit this year. Polnord’s Puzdrowski also said talks are underway with other potential partners for other projects outside Warsaw. Without expanding on this, he revealed that Polnord had abandoned previous discussions about a commercial project in Toruń.
